Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades
Your 3-day Marrakech to Fez Desert Tour starts with our driver guide picking you up from your accommodation. Venture across the high pass of Tizi N’tichka making several stops to admire the breathtaking landscape and Berber villages. Then we carry on to UNESCO site – Ait Ben Haddou, the backdrop of Hollywood blockbusters including Gladiator, Indiana Jones, and Game of Thrones. We will pass through Ouarzazate with an optional visit to the Atlas Film Studio. Continue onwards to Boumalne Dades where you will check-in at the accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi Desert
After breakfast, our journey set out towards the oasis of Tinghir. Continue onwards to Todra Gorges, one of the most spectacular canyons in the world where you can take a walk along the river bank. Lunch stop along the way and head towards Erfoud. Shortly after, the magical dunes of Erg Chebbi will start appearing in front of your eyes. Camels will be waiting to take you for an enchanting stroll on the dunes while enjoying the sunset. Relax at the desert camp, then enjoy a Moroccan dinner and drum music performance by local Berbers or lie on the sand to stargaze.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi Desert – Ziz Valley – Azrou Cedar Forest – Fez
On the last day, we’ll climb to the top of a dune to watch the sunrise and see the sand turn gold and sparkly. Enjoy breakfast at campsite or Merzouga town before saying goodbye to the Sahara. We then depart for the journey to Fez, passing through Ziz Valley, continuing onto Midelt and then across Middle Atlas Mountains. We will make a stop at Azrou Cedar Forest where you can see wild monkeys and continue onwards to the picturesque Ifrane, known as little Switzerland of Morocco. Shortly after, we will arrive Fez where we drop you off at your accommodation.
