Today of your 8 Days in Morocco you will be welcomed at the airport of Casablanca by our Driver guide who will accompany you during the tour. From the airport you will be transferred to your Hotel for the overnight stay. After check-in in hotel. Lunch at Rick’s Cafe if interested then tour with guide to visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, Habous District and other sights.
The second day of your tour in Morocco starts by a pickup onward journey to Fez but before that we will make a half day sightseeing tour with guide to explore the medina with over 9,000 narrow alley and leather tanneries. See many centuries-old artisans and crafts such as woodwork, brass, copperware, pottery, silk weaving etc. – Depending on time, head outside the medina to visit Gates of Royal or a mosaic factory. Next head directly to Fes for the overnight.
Picked up from your accommodation in Fes. And start a magnificent journey to the Desert of Merzouga. Along the way we will be stopping several times to discover and to see all the breathtaking sites. As we start with Ifrane City (Switzerland of Morocco). Where you can witness the place’s atmosphere of the Middle Atlas Mountain. From there to Azrou Cedar forest where you can see wild monkeys called Barbary Macaques. Which have emigrated from Gibraltar. Thereafter free time for lunch then keep driving to the panoramic view of Ziz Valley where only palm trees are growing due to the desert climate in the region. Finally reach the Magical desert where Erg Chebbi dune lies. And where the sand dunes will start appearing before your eyes – Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
A whole day to explore the desert as we Visit First the nomad Berber families in their traditional tent. Later we visit Khamlia village where you can enjoy a Gnawa music performance and try a Berber pizza for lunch in a specialized local restaurant. Today’s experience is like no other as you will get in touch with locals, Gnawa, and Nomads of the region. Before sunset, camels will take you for a stroll. Dinner, drum entertainment at camp, and overnight in a desert tent.
Early rise and shine to watch the sunrise and changing colors of the dunes, have breakfast then time to say goodbye to the desert and head the road again as we take the road of one thousand Kasbah to reach Tinghir, for lunch and break then a short afternoon hike in the area, also see Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with tall cliffs. Thereafter to Boumalne dades where you will pass a great overnight including dinner.
After breakfast. We continue our Moroccan adventure to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. On the way there is much to see the first stop is the dazzling panorama of the Rose Valley in Kelaat M’Gouna, a city known for the yearly rose festival thanks to the many trees of roses that are growing here a lot. We will be visiting a women’s cooperative to get to see how from roses hundreds of products get made. Then a visit to Kasbah Amridil in Skoura, built in 17th century, with a museum showing traditional kasbah life – A short walk through Palmeraie in Skoura. Next Drive through High Atlas Mountains over the pass of Tizi’nTichka with enroute stops. Finally reach our destination Marrakech where you will be dropped off in a charming Riad.
A local city guide is on the agenda for today. Full day walking tour to explore the Medina of this Red City and some great hidden history about is. Also Visit sights such as Ben Youssef Madrassa and Bahia Palace. Later after the tour, head up to one of the many rooftop terraces to see the famous square, Jemma El Fna in the evening.
After breakfast, visit Jardin Majorelle and/or YSL Museum in the morning – Time to say goodbye to Morocco but bring home wonderful memories from your trip – Drop off at Marrakech airport and from then your 8 days in Morocco end.
