We start a full-day walking tour with an official city guide to explore the Medina of Marrakech or as many call it the Red City. During the visit, we will be exploring many famous sights such as: Ben Youssef Madrassa and The Quranic Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and a stroll at the Medina’s narrow streets to dive into the secrets of the famous medina in the world. The visit doesn’t miss also the Bahia Palace an intricate architecture and beautiful gardens. Around Midday your visit with the local guide ends so you have free time to continue wandering especially in Jamaa el F’na which is considered as the beating heart of the city.

The adventure continues, and it starts after your breakfast at the Riad. Then we depart Marrakech and start making our way to the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka. Thereafter the Kasbah of Telouet a historical fortress that once was the residence of the Glaoui family, who were powerful rulers in the region during the 19th and 20th centuries. After breakfast, time we say goodbye to the Desert, and continue driving off-road across the now dried-up Lake Iriqui before reaching Foum Zguid. From Chegaga Desert to Taroudant the trip will take 9 full hours of driving including stops and lunch time. Along the way, we will experience the beauty of the Moroccan countryside and may encounter small villages and nomadic communities. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Taroudant. Known as the “Grandmother of Marrakech,” because it seems to Marrakech in most things such as the well-preserved ramparts and the dazzling Markets. However, the Lively souks that Taroudant has. Not far away from Taroudant, Agadir lie. To get there it will take us an hour and a half of drive. Relax at the coastal town, head to the nice beach for some sun and swim, stroll along the corniche-lined with palm trees, go shopping at the new medina, or try the traditional hammam.
