Morocco itinerary 8 Days:
Days Morocco Tour from Marrakech surely is an exciting experience in Morocco that will never be forgotten. The trip starts from the bustling city of Marrakech a very famous tourist destination. In the Red City, you will have the potential to make a sightseeing tour. With one of the best Local guides in the area who will show you the Historical Monuments that deserve your visit. Thereafter on the next day, we leave Marrakech we head to Ouarzazte, where travelers can explore the breathtaking Kasbahs and witness the stunning beauty of the Atlas Mountains.
Only one night is more than enough then we keep continuing on our way to Mhamid Desert. Passing through Ait ben Haddou a fortified village that was registered as a World Heritage Site since 1987. Once we are in Mhamid we will be together immersing ourselves in a different and rich culture which is Berber Culture as we will also be exploring their traditions. Later we visit the Erg Chegaga Desert where you will have the opportunity to ride the camels and across the golden dunes. However, a peaceful night in a desert camp is no doubt the highlight of the trip.
Afterward, the tour heads to Taroudant city. Known for its ancient walls, Dazzling markets, and fascinating traditional Moroccan architecture. During our visit to this charming city, we will wander through the narrow streets. Admire the impressive ramparts. The final leg of the tour concludes in Agadir Al-Massira International airport. Itinerary: 8 Days in Morocco Tour
⇒ Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Today of your 15 Day in Morocco you will be welcomed at the airport of Casablanca by our Driver guide who will accompany you during the tour. From the airport you will be transferred to your hotel for the overnight stay. After check-in in hotel. Lunch at Rick’s Cafe if interested then tour with guide to visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, Habous District and other sights.
⇒ Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat → Asilah
Today after a typical breakfast in your hotel. We drive around an hour to Rabat the capital city of Morocco and the homeland of the Alaouite dynasty. In Rabat we will visit Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Oudayas Kasbah. Then continue our way to Asilah, it will take us from Rabat to Asilah around 2.5 hours. We will have lunch in Rabat or at one of the stations at the highway. Upon arrival Asilah Free time to explore this quaint town known for medina filled with artsy murals. Overnight stay in a lovely Riad or Hotel
⇒ Day 3: Asilah → Tanger → Rif Mountains → Chefchaouen
Today we Head to Tanger known as the bride of the north. In Tanger we dedicate it to Visit the Cave of Hercule, Cup Spartel then a wander at the old Medina to witness the magical overlooking view of the Mediterranean ocean. Later after lunch we drive to Chefchaouen, it takes about 3 hours to reach this small cozy artistic town. At the late afternoon we arrive our destination there is still time to explore on foot this picturesque town perched beneath the Rif Mountains, known for its blue-washed streets and Arab-Andalusian architecture. Overnight stay in a charming Riad.
⇒ Day 4 : Free Day in Chefchaouen
Today is a special one because we will dedicate to continue yesterday’s strolls. After breakfast start exploring this enchanting city from wandering on its small narrow blue painted streets to the beautiful panoramic view at the top of a hill where the charming Spanish Mosque locates. There you can have a magical view of the of the old Medina as you can have as well as breathtaking sunset.
⇒ Day 5 : Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Today a rich day of exploration lies ahead on us After Departing from Chefchaouen we will have the first stop in Volubilis. Take a 1-hour guided tour at Volubilis to see this partly excavated ancient Berber and Roman city. Thereafter to Meknes the Ismaili capital, Lunch time the start exploring the Monuments of the city. At the late afternoon we reach our destination Fes for the overnight stay.
⇒ Day 6 : Sightseeing tour in Fes
Today a local tour guide of the Medina is on the agenda. He will show you all the magnificent sites that Fes has to show. First your visit starts by exploring the landmarks that locates outside of the medina to see the ornate Royal Palace gates – Visit a zellij tile cooperative to learn about How the famous Moroccan mosaic are made using ancient Fasis techniques – Then to Borj Nord for panoramic view. Later explore inside of the medina with over 9,000 alleyways, see centuries-old craftsmanship – Visit the famous Chourara tannery, also the oldest existing university Al-Qarawiyyin and a koranic school Bou Inania Madrasa 6 Jun. At the end of the day we pick up you to the Riad for overnight.
⇒ Day 7 : Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Ziz Valley → Sahara Desert
Picked up from your accommodation in Fes. And start a magnificent journey to the Desert of Merzouga. Along the way we will be stopping several times to discover and to see all the breathtaking sites. As we start with Ifrane City (Switzerland of Morocco). Where you can witness the place’s atmosphere of the Middle Atlas Mountain. From there to Azrou Cedar forest where you can see wild monkeys called Barbary Macaques. Which have emigrated from Gibraltar. Thereafter free time for lunch then keep driving to the panoramic view of Ziz Valley where only palm trees are growing due to the desert climate in the region. Finally reach the Magical desert where Erg Chebbi dune lies. And where the sand dunes will start appearing before your eyes – Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
⇒ Day 8 : Excursion around Sahara Desert
A whole day to explore the desert as we Visit First the nomad Berber families in their traditional tent. Later we visit Khamlia village where you can enjoy a Gnawa music performance and try a Berber pizza for lunch in a specialized local restaurant. Today’s experience is like no other as you will get in touch with locals, Gnawa, and Nomads of the region. Before sunset, camels will take you for a stroll. Dinner, drum entertainment at camp, and overnight in a desert tent.
⇒ Day 9 : Fes → Todgha Gorge → Boumalne Dades
Early rise and shine to watch the sunrise and changing colors of the dunes, have breakfast then time to say goodbye to the desert and head the road again as we take the road of one thousand Kasbah to reach Tinghir, for lunch and break then a short afternoon hike in the area, also see Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with tall cliffs. Thereafter to Boumalne dades where you will pass a great overnight including dinner.
⇒ Day 10 : Boumalne Dades → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah → Marrakech
After breakfast. We continue our Moroccan adventure to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. On the way there is much to see the first stop is the dazzling panorama of the Rose Valley in Kelaat M’Gouna, a city known for the yearly rose festival thanks to the many trees of roses that are growing here a lot. We will be visiting a women’s cooperative to get to see how from roses hundreds of products get made. Then a visit to Kasbah Amridil in Skoura, built in 17th century, with a museum showing traditional kasbah life – A short walk through Palmeraie in Skoura. Next Drive through High Atlas Mountains over the pass of Tizi’nTichka with enroute stops. Finally reach our destination Marrakech where you will be dropped off in a charming Riad.
⇒ Day 11 : Sightseeing tour in Marrakech
A local city guide is on the agenda for today. Full day walking tour to explore the Medina of this Red City and some great hidden history about is. Also Visit sights such as Ben Youssef Madrassa and Bahia Palace. Later after the tour, head up to one of the many rooftop terraces to see the famous square, Jemma El Fna in the evening.
⇒ Day 12 : Marrakech → Essaouira
In the morning, make our way to Essaouira, car journey about 3-4 hours – Have a leisurely seafood lunch then free time to this coastal town with 18th century Fortifications and Portuguese influences.
⇒ Day 13 : Free Day in Essaouira
Today is Dedicated to exploring the small cozy town of Essaouira. You have the whole day free you can visit the old Medina, the Sqala and the Beautiful beach. Overnight stay at the same Riad of yesterday including only Breakfast.
⇒ Day 14 : Essaouira → Casablanca
Today after breakfast along way ahead on us. At 9:00 o’clock of the morning We make our way to Casablanca, the trip takes around 6 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival we will drop you off at the hotel for enjoying the Last night in Casablanca.
⇒ Day 15 : Casablanca transfer to the airport
Depending on flight departure time, see the Casablanca cathedral or take a scroll along La Corniche. Time to say goodbye to Morocco but bring home wonderful memories of your trip. Transfer and drop off at Casablanca airport.
